Finding that Perfect Piece of Blue Sea Glass

Sea Side Park New Jersey Memorial Weekend
The unofficial start of summer at the Jersey Shore started on Memorial Day Weekend.  This year was a significant start as our shores worked hard to open on schedule after Super Storm Sandy......

I took this photo with my I phone as I walked along the coast line of Seaside Park with my sister in our ongoing quest of finding the perfect piece of sea glass.  We do not disclose as we walk how many pieces of glass we have in our pockets.....but some times there is a squeal if one should find a cobalt blue piece...

The colors of Blue and White is synonymous with summer.  From fashions to furniture .......it screams SUMMER.....just as the squeals of finding the perfect piece of sea glass.

A great place to kick back and read a book

Entrance all ready for the summer

perfect place to enjoy a gin and tonic

Wishing everyone a very safe and enjoyable summer.....The Jersey Shore is Open So come and visit us...

#55+ @Your New Life In Your New Home

What a wonderful opportunity I was given last evening to present at  Greenbriar Oceanaire a 55+ community in Waretown, NJ.  ( exit 69 of the NJ parkway)

I covered new trends, gave lots of tips and helpful hints regarding redesigning and editing your home.  We discussed what to do with all of your STUFF that has accumulated and was brought to your new home.  It does become very entertaining if you start thinking of it as just "Stuff"..if you click on the link above George Carlin does a great mono log on this topic.  We then discussed ways to filter through your Stuff and make it the items that matter.

The presentation was for the Woman's Club which is 550 members strong.  Their primary focus is to engage in educational and charitable endeavors.  They have done community outreached with Sandy Victims.  High School Scholarships, and much more. Most important they help and support one another in this very vibrant community.  I as a guest felt the warmth and a great sense of community and camaraderie.
